Nina Dobrev's birthday was on January 9th, but she didn't have the opportunity to celebrate until this past Saturday. Instead of throwing a traditional birthday bash, Nina opted to invite her friends and castmates to take cooking lessons at Le Cordon Bleu in Atlanta, GA.
Nina invited Ian Somerhalder, Joseph Morgan, Steven McQueen, Candice Accola, and Zach Roerig to celebrate her 23rd birthday. The gang learned to cook a gourmet meal consisting of Thai chicken satay kebab, seared salmon and tuna salad with avocado, beets and lemon vinaigrette, and a warm chocolate lava cake for dessert. Nina and The Vampire Diaries cast was taught by Chef Dan Harrar and Le Cordon Bleu Atlanta President, Dr. Glenn Mack.
Nina was also surprised with a special Devil's Food birthday cake, made to look like Elena's diary (pictured above). Looks like Nina had a blast cooking. Take a look at Nina's birthday gallery below!
