E! Online Spoiler Chat: "What's Up With Jeremy Seeing the Dead Chicks?

A new week, a new spoiler chat. This week's question surrounds the possible effects Vicki and Anna could have on Jeremy and Bonnie's relationship. Highlight to reveal.

Harrison: Can. Not. Wait. For The Vampire Diaries to return. Can you tell us what's up with Jeremy seeing the dead chicks? How long will they be on? And does this mean things are over with Bonnie?

Nothing like some "dead chicks" to really liven up the place, eh? I'm hearing some very good things about that storyline—It's gonna be twisty and turny and cool. Also hearing Malese Jow (Anna) and Kayla Ewell (Vicki) will be in about a handful of episodes (somewhere around six) and they will be recurring throughout the season. So you'll get some fun "dead chick" splashes there for a while, but they won't be around enough to muck things up with Bonnie. Win-win-win.

With only 3 weeks to go until the 3rd season premiere of the 'Vampire Diaries' on September 15th, the CW has released their official synopsis. Thanks to Vampire-Diaries.Net for the heads up! Highlight to reveal below.

IT’S MY PARTY — On the morning of Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) 18th birthday, Caroline (Candice Accola) is busy planning a party, but Elena is focused on searching for any clues that might help her discover where Stefan (Paul Wesley) is. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is also searching for Stefan, while trying to protect Elena and keep her from doing anything that would draw Klaus’ (Joseph Morgan) attention. Meanwhile, Klaus and Stefan are busy trailing a werewolf named Ray Sutton (guest star David Gallagher, “Super 8”). Now working at the Mystic Grill along with Matt (Zach Roerig), Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is struggling to understand why he keeps seeing the ghosts of Vicki (guest star Kayla Ewell) and Anna (guest star Malese Jow) since he was brought back to life by Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) magic. Meanwhile, Alaric (Matt Davis) does his best to watch over Elena and Jeremy, while dealing with his grief over Jenna’s death. Finally, Caroline and Tyler (Michael Trevino) face a new and unexpected challenge.

The SBH Lists the 15 Crimes the Salvatore Brothers Have Frequently Committed In and Around Mystic Falls

It's that time again! The Salvatore Boarding House has posted their weekly "Top 10," but with this week's topic, it looks like they had to expand. "15 Things Damon and/or Stefan Salvatore Should Have Been Arrested For Already," details the crimes this dynamic duo have committed since their return to Mystic Falls. Can you thank of some that didn't make the list? My personal top 3 favorites:

12. Sexual Assault. Oh, Damon. You are your very own episode of Law & Order: SVU.
11. Attempted Assault. Look, you’re already up on charges for slipping girls the mental roofies and now you’re trying to poison ladies with wolfsbane at the local bar? Do youwant to be arrested?
6. Cruelty to Animals. Hear that, Stefan? It’s Sarah McLachlan and she’s singing just for you.

What are yours? Be sure to tell us in the comments, after you head over to the SBH to see what other crimes made the list.

SPOILERS: Alaric Will Have His Hands Full in Season 3 of 'The Vampire Diaries'

Will we get to see more of our favorite vamp hunting history teacher this season? Head on over to E! Online's Spoiler Chat to find out! As for one of the questions, I'll give you the answer to below. Highlight to reveal.

Jessie in Smithtown, N.Y.: What's the deal with Alaric this season on TVD?!
Booze! Gilbert children! Stefan! Too vague? OK, fine. Kevin Williamson tells us, "Alaric (Matthew Davis) will wrestle with the death of Jenna (Sara Canning) because that's going to weigh on him a little bit. We're going to see how he mans up with regard to how he can be there for Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Jeremy in sort of the family unit, which we hinted at in the finale. We're also going to see him get right in the middle of trying to help save Stefan." So rest easy Ric fans, your man will have plenty to do in season three. "He's going to step forward and get right into the middle of everything."

Sleeperstar Talks to Beatweek Magazine About Being Featured on 'The Vampire Diaries'

Beatweek Magazine interviewed the rock band Sleeperstar about shooting their new music video to the hit song "I Was Wrong," which was featured on the hit CW Network show, 'The Vampire Diaries.' In the interview the band also talked about being able to communicate with their fans, performing live, and how digital music has affected the music industry. Go to Beatweek Magazine to read the complete interview. When asked how "I Was Wrong" became featured on 'TVD,' the band told Beatweek:

You know, they actually contacted us! We almost didn’t even put that song on the record. And then we all kind of liked it so much, it kind of had this vibe to it, we were like, We’ll make it a secret song, you know, we’ll let a track run and put it in two minutes after. Then at the very last second, we were like, You know, I think this is strong enough to get its own little place on the record, so it earned its own spot. I literally think the week before it sold a handful of copies; it wasn’t in comparison to Texas Rain or Disengage or We Go Tonight, or some of the other songs that were selling really well. And then one play on Vampire Diaries and that song was like the number one purchased song on itunes in the country from our aggregator, which was Tune Core. We were passing Nine Inch Nails and Civil Wars and all these bands, which was really funny cause we are still a very new band as far as the general public’s concern, so it was pretty neat, the whole thing was truly organic. You just can’t plan for those kinds of things. We clearly did not see it coming. We are very thankful for the response.

Look below to view the new music video, and go to www.sleeperstar.com to find out more about the band. You can also follow them on Twitter @Sleeperstar, MySpace, and Facebook.

Review: Love You to Death: Unofficial Companion to the Vampire Diaries - Season 2

Just in time for the third season of 'The Vampire Diaries,' author Crissy Calhoun releases her follow-up to I Love You to Death: The Unofficial Companion to the Vampire Diaries. If you are a fan of the show, and haven't read her companion guides, then go to Amazon right now to order both Season 1, and the soon to be released Season 2. Crissy told me that the second book is due to hit the shelves on September 1st, but if you can't wait it's already available for order through Amazon.

The book is a wonderful guide to have, because it not only gives you insight into each episode, but also makes connections to previous episodes as well as the books. This is a great feature, because it reminds you of things you may have forgotten, or reveals to you the significance of details that may not be as minor as you originally thought. Two of the sections I love the most are the Foggy Moments and the Questions. These two sections let me know what someone else was confused about, or questioned when watching an episode. One of my favorite things is to talk to my friends about what I just saw, what I think is going to happen, and why something happened. These sections remind me that I am not alone in these thoughts. Another great feature of the book is the historical Timeline. This section helps put all of the mythology in chronological order so you can understand it a lot better.

Crissy does a brilliant job of taking something that is so convoluted, and making sense of it. She writes beautifully, and is able to pull you into each episode she breaks down so you are reliving it one more time. Personally, my advice would be to watch the episode before reading her dissection of it. This is mainly due to the fact that she is breaking down the episodes, not giving you a complete play-by-play of what happened. So, unless you're like me, and watch the episodes countless times, you might want to brush up beforehand.

'The Vampire Diaries' is a show that moves at a break-neck pace, and it helps to have something tangible you can turn to for clarification. These books are great in that respect, and make for quick easy reading, and reference. With the show's complex history, and convoluted storylines, both of these books would make a great addition to any 'TVD' fans library.

Crissy Calhoun writes for our friends over at Vampire-Diaries.Net, and you can follow her on Twitter @CrissyCalhoun, as well as her own website: www.crissycalhoun.com.

Kevin Williamson Talks About Writing Teen Dramas with the Kansas City Star

Kevin Williamson is known for writing relatable teen characters. Whether they are southern teens learning about love, or just running for their lives, the characters Williamson creates are some of the most memorable. Williamson talked to the Kansas City Star to discuss how he became so good at writing teenage characters, his idols, and how the supernatural affects teen angst. Click here to read his interview.

Q: Do you find it harder to address issues that teens deal with when you have to add vampires and/or witches to the mix?
A: What I like about it is I've already done the teen angst. I've done the teen drama. It sort of freshens me up when I sit up late at night to write. There's something very epic about being a teenager in general because everything is extreme - when your boyfriend breaks up with you, it feels like the end of the world. I've always sort of been that guy who has that sort of yearning. If you look at all my characters, they all long for something, and it's always just out of their grasp, and I think that just makes for great conflict. When you add the life and death antics of a supernatural world, it's fun. It makes it important.

The SBH Releases Their New Top 10 List This Week, and the Residents of Mystic Falls Seem a Little Underdressed

In this week's top 10 list, the Salvatore Boarding House gives us "The Top 10 Reasons People in Mystic Falls are Found in a State of Undress." Here are my top 3 from this list. After checking them out, be sure to go over to the SBH, and take a look at the other reasons that made the list.

9. You’re modeling dresses for a guy who’s reading Twilight and planning to kill you. …nevermind.

7. Some cars need to be washed. With a limited number of local businesses and no professional car wash in sight, sometimes the kids just have to pitch in. In bikinis.

4.You need to wash your hands. We love you, Damon Salvatore. Even if you are a weirdo.

New Episode Still Released Featuring Guest Star David Gallagher

A while back it came out the '7th Heaven' alum David Gallagher would guest on 'Vampire Diaries' as a werewolf that butts heads with Klaus and Stefan. Now, the still has been released featuring this trio, and tensions look high. In the pic, it looks like Gallagher's wolf doesn't buy what Klaus is trying to sell him, and Stefan seems to be acting as Klaus' muscle. Thoughts?

First Season 3 Promotional Photo Released

On the heels of the new Rolling Stones photo shoot, the CW released the new promotional photo for season 3 of 'The Vampire Diaries.' In the photo, the trio are posed in light colored clothing, which contrast nicely with the dark, oily look they had for season 2. What hidden messages could be hidden within this pic (if any) will probably be debated amongst fans until the premiere on September 15. I'm sure we'll hear some good ones!

Cast of 'The Vampire Diaries' Takes a Bite Out of Rolling Stone Magazine

Courtesy of Rolling Stone Magazine

Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev, and Ian Somerhalder defied gravity in their latest photo shoot for Rolling Stone Magazine. While being photographed, the trio talked to Rolling Stone about working together, the vampire craze, and even teased a little about season 3. As far as what the future has in store for the vampire craze, Ian Somerhalder told Rolling Stone,  "The whole Twilight thing is about to be over.  And teenage girls can't watch True Blood with their parents - that would just get weird. So we're getting ready to kick some major ass this season." To see larger version of this photo shoot, and see what else the trio had to say, be sure to go to Rolling Stone Magazine.

Kayla Ewell Tells TV Guide, "All Vicki does is toy with people."

Kayla Ewell talks to TV Guide about what Vicki's intentions are now that she is back in Mystic Falls. Careful not to let too much slip, Ewell does hint that there may be a showdown between the three supernatural ladies in Jeremy Gilbert's life.

"They keep hinting towards this huge epic fight between Bonnie, Anna and Vicki. If that were to happen, there would be major powers at stake there because we're talking two vampire ghosts and a witch."

Which of Jeremy's lady loves will ultimately win his heart is one of the burning questions of season 3. Click here to see what else Kayla has to say about this highly anticipated storyline.
