Joseph Morgan Interview Round Up+ 10onTop Exclusive Clip:Nina Dobrev Gives Him Advice on Making a "Vampire Face"
We've been holding out on posting the various interviews with @_josephmorgan who plays Klaus on The Vampire Diaries, because there are so many. Here are some snippets from those interviews.
Hollywood Life
Hollywood Life
Were you worried about living up to the fans’ expectations of Klaus?
Yes, to be honest with you. The more I watched of season two as I was preparing for the part, the more pressure I felt. I’m so passionate about the [vampire] genre anyway, so I felt like all I had to do was let myself run free with it and embrace it all. Everyone’s been wonderful, especially my followers on Twitter who were with me before I even appeared on the show. I’ve felt very loved, I’m very grateful.
HitFix: Just as a last question: Gimme a little tease on what we can expect from Klaus this week and in the weeks to come...
JM: OK. People are going to die. People we love will die. And let me tell you this, which I don't think I've said before: Klaus is going to take a special interest in Stefan Salvatore. That's something that's definitely going to happen. I'm not talking about a romantic interest, mind you, although it has been hinted that there will be a gay character at some point in Mystic Falls and I think there should be. But that's not the kind of interest I'm talking about here. But there's going to definitely be something... happening... between these two characters.

When Klaus and Elijah meet in the present day, have dynamics changed between them? Will there be any shred of familial affection left?
I think that like with any family, there are complicated dynamics between the two of them. I don't think it'll ever be black and white, just pure love or pure hate. I'm sure they will meet at some point in the modern day, and when they do meet, whether or not it's this season, I hope that Daniel and I create enough of a rounded dynamic that you'll see both of those emotions. I have a brother. The relationships between brothers are complicated. It's never one thing.
Entertainment Weekly
Vampire Diaries EPs Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec love to introduce characters, make us think of them one way, and then flip it. Is Klaus being a hybrid enough of a surprise, or is there any chance he’ll turn out to somehow be a good guy?
I don’t think there’s gonna be that big a turn around by the end of season 2, I’ll say that for you. But I think like anybody, there are multiple facets to his personality. I don’t know if anyone picked up on this, but I felt like there’s a moment in episode 19, conveniently titled “Klaus,” where Klaus is talking to Elijah about how a vampire’s greatest weakness is love, and we do not care, and Elijah says, “We did once.” There’s a moment before Klaus dismisses it and says, “Too many lifetimes ago to matter,” where I felt it was important to have a hint of the fact that they did care once and that maybe we’ll learn a bit more about that. Where did it all begin? If he’s trying to break the curse with a doppelgänger, and Katherine was a doppelgänger as well, there’s got to have been an original Petrova who was wrapped up in making the curse. Why was she so important? All these questions that I don’t even know the answer to at the moment, but I’m fascinated thinking about it and reading people’s theories.http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif

He's surrounded by yes-witches.
Yes-witches, absolutely. I love that. I think there was a sense in 1490 that he and Elijah were much closer, and I think there was a sense of Elijah being like a Consigliere to him, a counselor. So I think Elijah helped him keep his feet on the ground. But now Klaus has really gone to town with acting the way he wants, and doing what he wants.
Joseph Morgan is scheduled to be on MTV's 10onTop today April 30th at 11:30am EST so make sure you tune in.Nina talks about giving advice to Joseph Morgan on your "vampire face" in this exclusive clip below:

The Originals and Julie Plec Talk to L.A. Times Show Tracker “Once we knew Elijah was sticking around, that was the link we made.”

Alas, there won't be anymore Elijah/Klaus/Katherine flashbacks this season, but Plec did reveal that “Season 3 is very much the season of the Originals” and how vampire-werewolf procreation works is something that “will be prevalent in the future.” So does that mean Elijah or Klaus might be series regulars next season? “That is a decision that gets made when we actually break story for Season 3,” she replied, adding with a laugh that that will happen after a well-deserved trip to Mexico.

No Truth to Vampire Diaries and Secret Circle Crossover “The witches in The Vampire Diaries are not in the same universe."

Kevin Williamson talked with The Hollywood Reporter about balancing The Secret Circle and The Vampire Diaries. He also spoke candidly about the rumored crossover episode with The Secret Circle. Read full story here.
Some have even hinted at the idea of a potential crossover with The Secret Circle, set in the North, and The Vampire Diaries, set in Mystic Falls, Va. But Williamson rejects any possibility of that. “The witches in The Vampire Diaries are not in the same universe. We’re not connecting them; there are no crossovers,” he says. “There are no vampires and werewolves in the witch world in Secret Circle.”

IHTVD RECAP: "Klaus" by Danielle DuCré
Elena waits for Elijah to wake up. It's been long enough for her to start getting impatient, but not long enough for the Salvatore brothers to come downstairs looking. As he finally comes to, he does so uncomfortably as if his limbs are slowly, painfully coming back to life. He looks at Elena, but sees Katherine causing his memory to flash back..."Katerina."
In a grand soiree, Elijah is introduced to pre-vampiric Katerina. She's a gift. He gazes at her with familiarity and smitten admiration. The two take to the dance floor until Klaus makes a fashionably late entrance. Elijah introduces young Katerina as a gift. She is struck by his presence, and he is struck by the potential of her future. "Please, call me Klaus."

Back on the cold basement floor, Elijah's body struggles and bucks as he tries to catch breath. He hasn't been invited in. The house is rejecting him.
Although her actions thus far have been questionable, she hesitates inviting him in. Good girl! Finally making it outside, Elijah stands in torched rags glaring at her. Elena's ready to make another deal. Now he's looking at her like she's crazy. Just because you removed the dagger you put in his heart doesn't mean he's ready to trust you! So, she gambles. Elena gives him the dagger. Um, Elena, was there no other option?!
Alaric's place is still Klaus HQ. Fortunately Katherine is no longer compelled to engage in self torture. Instead she's keeping note of Klaus's plans and progress. Maddox is receiving orders for his next mission. "To retrieve me so I can get out of this bad hair do." Now that Klaus is under the impression that Bonnie is no longer a threat, he's ready to go through with the sacrifice. Katherine reassures him that history won't repeat itself when it comes to Elena. "She won't run.""The birthplace of the doppelgänger."
"You need my help to kill Klaus."
Elena either has really good judgment of character, or that doppelgänger curse is working in her favor. No one tries to double cross her. She sits in a vehicle conversing with Elijah as he refuels on a bag-o-blood.
"You can't do this alone." Stefan finally realizes that Elena never came to bed. Wow. No wonder why Damon is so protective! Once they realize that both Elijah and the dagger are gone the wheels start spinning. "She's lost it." Not quite yet, Damon, but it wouldn't be a stretch. Matter of fact, for a 17 year old, she's doing exceptionally well! Still, Damon doesn't want to take Stefan's warning to let her handle everything on her own. "That might be your plan; mine's better."
Elena takes Elijah to the Lockwood mansion. Elijah compels Carol to play hostess and provide him a new wardrobe. Apparently Elijah was making his rounds on the townspeople to get them off vervain. Originals...After receiving several calls from her niece and nephew, Jenna decides to take a break from her thesis and head home. No Elena. No Jeremy. No Uncle John. She calls Stefan to get some answers."We're going rogue."
He has one: Don't go to The Grill! Klaus has invited Jenna to meet him there, but Stefan high tails it over to the Gilbert's to prevent Jenna from going. Meanwhile, Damon and his gal pal Andie Star do some investigative work. Destination Klaus HQ.
Inside Katherine is drowning in her Liquor Store Blues. She can't prevent them from coming in because the seal of compulsion extends about an inch from the doorknob. Instead, she gets to stand there while Damon gloats about the backfire of her betrayal. "Where did that get ya?"
Andie steps in oblivious to the danger of being near an upset vampire. Andie may die. Soon.
Damon seemingly has zero attachment to Katherine, yet he still looks out for her. Telling her that there's always a loophole to compulsion, then giving her vervain to try to resist future orders from Klaus. I'm surprised that would even work against an Original.
Racing to the Gilbert's, Stefan has to find an explanation to give to Jenna. He wouldn't tell her the truth, so what can he say to keep her away from Alaric? Jenna looks at him like it's a failed mission."Do you believe in vampires, Jenna?"
Too late.
Klaus, via Alaric's body, stands assuredly in the kitchen. Chopping away. "I'm still waiting for someone to tell me what the hell is going on." At this point, I really wish Elena would've told Jenna. Hearing it from Stefan would be difficult, but hearing if from Klaus is going to be brutal. He begins speaking of the supernatural as if it were mythical, but there's truth behind every word.
Jenna has had enough of the banter and orders him out of her house. One problem, he and that knife he just picked up don't want to leave. Stefan steps in and challenges Klaus, and orders Jenna to leave. One look at Stefan's vamped face and she's out the door!
Couldn't have said it better. Klaus and Elijah are brothers. What's more is that their entire family make up the clan of Originals. The flashback that Elijah first took us to was a birthday celebration for Klaus, and the rosy cheeked young maiden was a strategic gift."O.M.G."
Elijah explains to Elena that the Aztec curse is fake. It was created so that both vampires and werewolves would be in search for the moonstone and doppelgänger which are needed for the true curse. "A curse placed on Klaus."
Stefan has been blowing up Elena's phone to tell her about Jenna. She gives her word to Elijah that she'll return to the Lockwood mansion, but now she needs to get home. When she does, she finds her aunt devastated. Stefan told her everything. "I'm scared." Elena is now regretting her 'keep Jenna safe' logic. Duh!"I should have told you."
Stefan of course is emotional. "It's not your fault, Stefan, it's mine." But, she doesn't have time to comfort him. She needs to keep her word to Elijah and return to the Lockwood's. Of course Damon is not pleased that Stefan is so lax about her teaming up the Original. "It's twice you stood in my way, I wouldn't try a third."
"Tell me, what is Klaus's curse?"
When Elena returns, Elijah appears relieved that she kept her word. And the tale of the curse continues...
"Klaus was not my father's son." Their mother had an affair with a werewolf. He's cursed because his existence goes against nature. He's looking to preserve himself, and at the same time build his own breed. "He's both." He can do so during the next full moon. At one point Elijah wanted to help him because as his brother, he loved him, but now wants to stop him at all costs.
He probably figured this out when long ago he found a way to save the doppelgänger, and Klaus rejected the idea. "Love is a vampire's greatest weakness." But, he wasn't ready to let Katerina go.

The witches were the ones who saw to the curse, but there's more to the doppelgänger. What is it?
"An apology."
Andie has been told to leave, but she didn't listen. She surprises Damon in his bedroom. "You need to know that someone cares about you." Damon is hurt, frustrated, and angry. He attacks her, regrettably. Then, orders her out before he kills her.
On the other side of town, a magic show is starting.
Klaus's body has arrived along with the infamous Greta Martin. She and Maddox begin to chant a spell. Alaric wakes up, takes one look at Katherine calls out "Elena," and passes out. Then, the anticipated reveal of present day Klaus. Stepping out of a chest, commanding presence in his familiar being. "Now that's more like it."
Yah, right. Tell that to the town your about to wreck havoc on.

THR: Were there any other modifications to a specific moment or episode?
Williamson: Originally we had planned to kill [Bonnie] for four episodes and let Elena be the one who hid her away and surprise everyone with it but we said the audience would hate us. They’ll never forgive us. Then we thought we could do this for one episode and bring her back next week. Then we thought no, better to do it at the end of the commercial break. We finally came down to a commercial break was all we could get away with.

More than one life hangs in the balance as the consequences of the sacrifice ritual play out to a horrifying conclusion. Steven R. McQueen, Katerina Graham, Candice Accola and Matt Davis also star. PopWrap Exclusive BTS Photos of "Klaus"
TV Guide First Look at Season Two Finale of The Vampire Diaries!

Yes I know you're crying already. The end of season two is upon us and I'm emotional just typing. The always lovely Robyn Ross from TV Guide reveals an exclusive photo from episode 22 "As I Lay Dying". I don't even want to guess what's going on in this photo. If this episode is more epic than "Founder's Day" I expect heads rolling by the end credits. Let us know what you think in the comment section.
"But what about that fire? We know the finale focuses on the long-dreaded sacrifice ritual, which means more than one character's life is at stake. And from what we're hearing about the ritual's horrifying conclusion, we're not sure even the Salvatore Brothers will be able to save the day. Only three more weeks until we find out for sure."

“Greta is not someone you want to mess with,” Lisa tells us, though she won’t say whether or not Greta presents herself as a friend or foe to the Salvatore brothers. “A lot of the witches on the show follow tradition very closely, but Greta’s definitely her own witch. She’s very powerful.”

IHTVD RECAP + Link: "The Last Dance" by Danielle DuCré

"Please just kill me, Klaus."
Katherine sits spell-bound in a chair and gives him the pep talk he needs to make sure everything goes according to plan: Elijah's whereabouts, Alaric's current situation with Jenna, the darker shirt.
She's never been so vulnerable, so frightened. She begs him to kill her and get it over with now that he has all the information she knows. "I've searched for you for over 500 years, your debt is going to last at least half that long." Beginning with the direct order to repeatedly stab herself in the leg while she awaits his return.
Wow.
Elena has officially inherited the Salvatore Brooding House. Her life has caused her to brood just as much as Stefan, so the home will simply be renamed: Elena Gilbert's Brooding House (EGBH). "You're own personal safe house...wouldn't want to clean it." Bonnie looks on as Elena does the duty of inviting in Stefan and Damon. Her giddiness quickly fades when her focus meets Damon. She wants him to promise her that he'll abide by her rules. His response is classic Damon. Honest and blunt. "No.""Do you promise to obey the owner of this house?"
(Love the subtle "Shut up" Damon says to Stefan as he walks past after finally being let in.)
Bonnie and Elena are heading out to school which displeases Stefan. And he's crushed when Elena assures that the safest place for her to be is by Bonnie's side. Ouch. He pulls himself together and proceeds with a reluctant drag out the door to follow the girls.
Before school, Matt goes to the Forbes residence to talk to the Sheriff. "Buy me some time. Please, Matt." He feels that Caroline knows him too well to believe that he's not hiding an agenda. But, arriving at school he embraces Caroline with a sincerity that is reminiscent of old times."But I'll never fool her."
Klaus- via Alaric's body- arrives to History class. His monologue of his disapproval of the 60s abruptly ceases once his beloved doppelgänger is in sight. It's probably taking everything in him to continue with the lesson versus snatching up Elena right there and then.
Lunch.
For the students anyways. Jeremy is trying to convince Bonnie to cease her suicide mission, but she won't comply which leaves him frustrated and helpless as Elena approaches. He leaves the two girls as a compelled Dana delivers a message to Elena. Klaus wants her to save him the last dance at the 60s soiree.
After school meeting at EGBH allows Stefan's parental tone to restate his disapproval of the idea to attend the social. Not knowing Klaus's physical appearance makes them very vulnerable. Equally as vulnerable as their home seeing as Klaus just walked in through the front door."This is not as safe as you guys thought."
His blood transfusion isn't strong enough to compel him to follow the supernatural rule. Too bad Bonnie's powers can't sense this! And, it's too bad that no one notices the pep to Alaric's step. Klaus in Alaric's body seems like Alaric on Prozac. Biggest, baddest vampire...has he ever talked like that?
Bonnie reassures them that she can protect Elena at the dance, and proves it by tossing Damon clear across the room without even flinching. "Well, I was impressed."
Apparently no previous resident of Elena's newly claimed estate has ever done Spring cleaning. Ever. She is able to sift through enough clothing to supply her for decade dances for years to come!"Tonight we will put an end to him."
It's clear to Stefan that Elena is nervous. This is the day they face down the most powerful Original. As he shows his bravado and support, Damon with his sexy 60s bedroom look tells them to hurry things up.
Meanwhile, Matt, dressed as a finely tailored politic-o, picks up Caroline. Sheriff Forbes looks on admiring her daughter who once was and never will be.
Over at Alaric's, Katherine has been self inflicting injury all day. Yowza. She watches as Klaus prepares his host body, and makes mental notes as Maddox dishes out details. He's going to put a spell over Alaric's body to protect Klaus long enough for "witch bitch" to overexert her powers and die.
All set and ready, Klaus arrives at the dance making moves through the crowd. Stumbling upon Dana and her date, he begins compelling their assistance.
Before entering the school, Jeremy tries pleading with Bonnie one more time. Damon walks by grinning at Bonnie. Did he overhear?"I'm empowered, Jeremy. I can do this."
The gang is ready for their mission to kill Klaus. Settling on the dance floor Dana takes command of the mic to deliver a very special song dedication from Klaus to Elena. According to Damon, it's a "lame, cheap shot." He's prepared to take on Klaus, and he won't be distracted.
Matter of fact, he's "cool as a cucumber" on the dance floor with Elena as Stefan finds Caroline to update her. (I know it's the time for Bonnie to shine, but I really wish Caroline was in on the action.) Soon, Damon cuts in to dance with Bonnie. He did overhear her conversation with Jeremy. She's prepared to give her life for Elena "no matter what." Still, he inquires if there's any chance of increasing her odds of survival. "Careful, Damon, might start to think you actually care."
Elena notices Jeremy's tension as he watches Bonnie and Damon. He can't confide in her because he promised Bonnie so he leaves the dance floor. One concerned look from Elena and Stefan follows him out to the hallway. An unbearable secret to hold, he spills to Stefan. "What am I supposed to do?""I changed my mind."
Elena is raged, and takes Bonnie outside to protest her mission. But, when Bonnie proves that Elena would do the same for her if the roles were reversed, Elena is caught off guard. Still, she won't allow it. Equally upset, Stefan confronts Damon on his broken promise to Elena. Of course Damon's not phased, so they go back to the hallway to find Jeremy who is getting beat up by a gang of school kids under compulsion. "Let me guess, Klaus says "Hi."" Stefan stops Damon from retaliating against the culprits, ordering him to find Bonnie and Elena. "It's a distraction."
Klaus finds Bonnie and Elena and leads them back inside. But where is he leading them? This part of the school is completely deserted, and once again his demeanor is that of Alaric on Prozac. Elena becomes weary of his banter and she asks him if he's on vervain. As in overdose?"Klaus has Jeremy."
"Surprise." He reveals himself as Klaus. Then, as if trying to reassure Elena, "You're not on my hit list tonight, but you are." And his agenda: cancel out the opposing witch. Bonnie steps in front of her best friend prepared to fight. He warns her that attempting to kill him will only end Alaric's life, and that he'll just find another host. So, she does what any other witch would do. Buy time by throwing him clear down the hallway.
OK. Now time to run.
And they do straight into Damon. After a 20 second explanation of the Alaric take over, Damon sends Elena to update Stefan. Then, looking into Bonnie's eyes, he asks her one more time if she's ready for this. "Klaus does not get to win tonight."
Bonnie goes on a suicide mission to find Klaus. He's waiting for her in a lounge area. To show him that she's not going to go easy on him, she breaks his hand backwards without even touching him. "Is that all you got?" There's only one way to find out. Bonnie slams the doors sealing Elena and Stefan out. As they bang on the doors, Bonnie continues to challenge Klaus. She pulls power from everything in the room- lights are shattering, objects are flying. In comparison to calling a storm, she's truly exerting herself now. Blood begins to drain from her nose."He'd want you to suffer first."
Taking one final glance at her best friend, the power overwhelms her body and the life is taken from her.
(Two things: Katerina Graham portrayed this sacrifice beautifully. And, it's definitely true that you're only as good as your partner because the chemistry between her and Nina Dobrev provided such an amazing scene that was nothing short of epic.)
Once Bonnie dies, the sealed doors swing open just as fast as Klaus disappears. Elena runs to Bonnie, not ready to claim that she just witnessed her best friend die. Stefan's confirmation of her death sends Elena into complete shock. Of all her supernatural experiences, this one will surely haunt her forever."I will always choose you."
Damon tells Stefan to take Elena home while he takes care of Bonnie's body. As Elena is dragged away, Damon reaches down and respectfully closes Bonnie's eyes. After placing her in his trunk, he is discovered by Jeremy who is frantic and confused.
Sitting next her fireplace, Elena still weeps over her friend. "This is my fault." Damon arrives begging Elena to calm down so he can explain something to her, but she's furious with him that she slaps him into next Thursday.
Bonnie's OK. She put a protective spell over herself. They had to have an authentic reaction from Elena to prove to Klaus that she indeed perished. She resurrected with Jeremy by her side. An unfathomable emotion is etched on her face as she realized what she just accomplished.
(I'll be the one to say it- were they really going to kill off the only person of color on the show?)
Stefan is upset with Damon that he was left out of the plan, but gets lectured about the difference between he and his brother. Instead of assessing the collateral damage, Damon is prepared and willing to do anything to keep Elena alive.
After video chatting with Bonnie, Elena finds Damon and apologizes for hitting him. He accepts and reiterates that he would risk anyone and anything to protect her. Of course this is exactly what Elena is afraid of, so she does what we could only expect from The Vampire Diaries- she goes downstairs and removes the dagger from Elijah.
OMG. This is one heck of a gamble.

Entertainment Weekly Season Two Finale Scoop "We’re just gonna keep tellin’ stories."
Entertainment Weekly's Mandi Bierly chatted with Julie Plec about upcoming episodes leading up to the season finale. Read full article here.
Disclaimer: If this is the first time you've seen this please credit sources when posting to your fansite.
The May 12 finale, “As I Lay Dying,” is centered around another event – A Gone With the Wind movie night in the town square. “Damon [Ian Somerhalder], who is desperately seeking forgiveness from Elena for something that he has done, starts to relive moments from past mistakes made with Katherine back in 1864,” Plec says. “As is always true with these events in Mystic Falls, things go horribly awry.” There’s a lot going on in the finale, she adds, but because so much of it hinges on things that we haven’t yet seen, that’s as far as she can go.

Candice Accola Talks with PopWrap "Major events are going to happen to major characters."

Candice Accola chatted with PopWrap about tonight's episode, Stefan and Caroline, Tyler's intentions, and more. Read full article here.
PW: Julie Plec referred to these run of episodes as The Klaus Chapter. How does Caroline factor into that?
Candice: What we know at this point about the sacrifice is that Klaus will need a witch, a werewolf and a vampire – so there’s obviously an opportunity for Caroline to be very, very important to that. But at the same time, she hasn’t been as involved with that fight since she’s focused on Tyler and Matt and getting her life together. I think her role in that side depends on whether or not Caroline is the vampire Klaus needs.

So why is this picture important? Well, we think it gives some additional insight into the tone of the episode. Judging from the body language (Elena's arms are crossed, while Stefan is looking at her longingly), their last moments together (at least for that day) will be bittersweet. In other words, prepare to shed some tears "TVD" fans. Side note: Are those mountains we see in the background? If so, have they always been a part of the Mystic Falls landscape?

Julie Plec Talks to XFinity TV about "The Last Dance", Tyler's Return, and More
XFinity TV has an awesome interview with Executive Producer, Julie Plec. She talks about casting Klaus, Matt and Sheriff Forbes teaming up, Tyler returning and more. Read full story here. Thanks to Vampire-Diaries.net for the heads up!
Disclaimer: If this is the first time you've seen this please credit sources when posting to your fansite.
What are the repercussions of Matt and Carolyn’s mother, Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre), finding out that Caroline is a vampire?
The emotional repercussion is that Matt (Zach Roerig) is going to find himself struggling with whether he should accept wholeheartedly what Sheriff Forbes says about vampires having no humanity, or if it’s possible that Caroline (Candice Accola) is still the girl that fell in love with him. He might have to impart some of those questions on the Sheriff. It’s going to make her wonder if she should look at her daughter as a monster or as a person.
When will Tyler return? Where does his mother think he is?
His mother thinks he’s off on some kind of spiritual journey. He’ll be back for the full moon, which is the last couple episodes of the season – the last day. It all takes place in a 24-hour period, which is the day of and the night of the full moon.

Vampire Diaries Spoiler Round-Up
There's quite a few spoilers that have surfaced for tomorrow night's episode and for the rest of the season. Below is a summary. I can only think of one thing, possessed Alaric and 100 witches!
Buddy TV: 5 questions and answers
Question #2: What is the purpose of Klaus possessing Alaric?
Answer: The first answer is that it's a scouting mission designed to figure out the status of Mystic Falls before the real Klaus shows up. However, there's also an additional benefit that comes in handy given the recent transfer of the title for the Salvatore mansion. Alaric doesn't need an invite to get inside a house, even when he's possessed by a vampire. More here.
EW Inside TV: Spoiler Room
Vampire Diaries is AMAZING! It was so worth the wait. What’s next with Bonnie and Jeremy?
Answer: Well, my fear is that their future might have to do with what Graham told me in our convo last week: “I think Bonnie has to make some really hard decisions, and she makes them out of love. She basically realizes a position that she was constantly put in throughout season 1 and into season 2, she’ll now find that she’s putting someone else in that position.” If any of that sounds good to you … you’re nuts. More here. Thanks to TVDnews for the heads up on this spoiler.
TV Line: Ask Ausiello
Question: I have a Smurf under a knife… don’t make me use it! Vampire Diaries scoop is required to set him free!
Ausiello: In Thursday’s ep, Elena and Katherine will be tortured at the hands of Klaus/Alaric — but in very different ways. Release the Smurf!
TV Guide MegaBuzz
When will we actually see Klaus on Vampire Diaries? — Joey
NATALIE: Not until April 21, but in this week's episode — which also includes a shocking death — Klaus will use Alaric's body to infiltrate the group. He'll discover what Katherine couldn't tell him, no matter how much he tortured her: Bonnie is one powerful lady now, thanks to 100 dead witches. Expect not only a double cross while trying to take down Klaus, but a triple cross. So much crossing! Thanks to Snowballx for the heads up!

Julie Plec Talks to EW about the Alaric Twist "Ha ha, the trick’s on you."
Everyone was shocked when Alaric Saltzman became Klaus through a blood transfusion and witchy juju last Thursday! Executive Producer, Julie Plec talked to Entertainment Weekly about the Alaric/Klaus body swap and more. Thanks to ChrisMcTV for the heads up! Read full story here.
Disclaimer: If this is the first time you've seen this please credit sources when posting to your fansite.
Plec says producers had been trying hard to find Matt Davis a juicy story line. “It felt so good because it lets him show off a bit, because he’s so good, and it lets our audience be shocked by an unexpected development, and it’s giving us a glimpse into who Klaus is before we even get to meet Klaus, which I also love,” she says. But does it mean Alaric will be/already is one of the season’s casualties? We won’t find out this week, Plec teases. “When [Matt Davis] would ask, ‘What are you gonna do with Alaric?’, I always told him, ‘We’re either going to make you a gloriously integral character that the show can’t live without, or we’re gonna build you up magnificently and kill you epicly.’ I won’t tell you which way that goes, but that’s the promise I made to him.”
