Paul Wesley (Stefan):
"I was in a car accident when I was 17 and flipped 12 times and landed upside down in a ravine. I'd put my seat belt on just five minutes before it happened."
Ian Somerhalder (Damon):
"Once [while flying out of] the Miami airport, there was some electrical problem that caused our plane to plummet thousands of feet. Slicing through the air, I looked out the window and saw the ocean getting closer and closer. I freaked out."
