I have to admit they're pretty spot on for the most part. However, I feel Michael Trevino will have a slight edge by the time season 2 ends. I don't think he'll need protein shakes and a Gold Gym's membership to keep the ladies excited. *smirk*

We'd bite: Elena. When she found out her vampire boyfriend was, in fact, her vampire boyfriend, she balked and called things off. Sure, they got back together, but she still doesn't take his or anyone's crap. She even pumped him full of vervain (a vampire sedative) when it was necessary. That's our kind of girl.

We'd date: Though Bill is suddenly hot this season, we're sticking with Stefan. Did we mention the flame thrower?

We'd get bitten by: Eric. Somerhalder is a dreamboat, and his portrayal of Damon is borderline mind-blowing in its complexity. But there's just no getting around Eric's all-out badassery or the fact that he's essentially walking sex. Also, he can fly. Just think about that for two minutes.

June 30, 2010 (Burbank, CA) ─ The CW Network has set its fall premiere schedule, launching its fifth broadcast season with 10 hours of original programming of returning favorites and two new series.

On Wednesday, September 8, Cycle 15 of the hit reality series AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) kicks-off the 2010-2011 season, followed by the series premiere of new drama HELLCATS (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET). HELLCATS is a pumped-up drama about a young pre-law student (Aly Michalka, “Bandslam”) whose world is turned upside-down when she loses her scholarship and has to join the college’s competitive cheerleading squad. This fun, energetic series is a behind-the-scenes look at the drama, politics and pressure surrounding the football program at a Southern university. Ashley Tisdale (“High School Musical”) also stars as a young woman who is totally committed to the cheerleading squad to realize her dreams.

On Thursday, September 9, the network’s #1 show, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) returns for a second season and leads into new action-drama series NIKITA (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET). NIKITA stars international action-film star and martial arts expert Maggie Q (“Mission Impossible III”) in the title role as a spy and assassin for a top secret U.S. government agency, who rebels against the system that created her and will stop at nothing to bring their powerful operation to an end.

On Monday, September 13, viewers will get the best of both coasts when the third season premiere of 90210 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) leads into the season four premiere of GOSSIP GIRL (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET).

On Tuesday, September 14, two fan favorites go back-to-back when season eight of ONE TREE HILL (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) leads into the second season of LIFE UNEXPECTED (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET).

On Friday, September 24, SMALLVILLE (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) kicks-off its tenth and final season with the non-stop action and classic DC Comics characters viewers love, followed by the sixth season of SUPERNATURAL (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET).

Exclusive Info On The Vampire Diaries San Diego Comic Con Panel

Thanks to Conception Allen at Blast Magazine we have some deets on the Vampire Diaries Comic Con panel. Of course our lovely trio will be there. Matt Davis and Michael Trevino will also be in attendance which should add a little more entertainment for the lucky panel goers.

This year’s San Diego Comic-Con International marks the second appearance for The CW smash series, “The Vampire Diaries.” The event is less than a month away, but confirmation on specific cast members attending the panel have been left to speculation until now. Warner Bros. confirmed with Blast today that the program is set for Saturday, July 24th with a room and time TBD. It will include appearances from Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Michael Trevino, Matt Davis, Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson.

TV Guide Keck's Exclusives: Julie Plec Says A New Lockwood Will Come to Mystic Falls

The festival is now over, so let the posting begin! The trio+1 are in Australia and gearing up for the Hub Productions' Vampire Diaries event July 4th weekend. Last season, the show made it very clear that Tyler Lockwood will be going through the transformation from man to wolf. So here's a tidbit from Keck's Exclusives about a new member of the Lockwood family according to Julie.

"Our big new addition is Mason Lockwood, the mayor's much younger and cooler brother, who has been estranged from the family," says executive producer Julie Plec. "His return introduces a lot of questions about what is so special about that creepy Lockwood family." My guess: they were unicorns with wooden vampire-killing horns.

I wonder who will be cast as the younger brother. Thoughts?

Ian Somerhalder Talks Gulf Oil Spill with E!Online and Larry King Live Telethon Details!

The Gulf Oil Spill clean up effort continues with little help. Ian Somerhalder is doing his part to bring awareness of the devastation going on right now in Louisiana. He told reporters in Monte Carlo, "I need to get home." As we see he did just that and it makes me very proud to see his loyalty. I have the same question as well. Where is Hollywood?

In the above video Ian mentioned a telethon and also tweeted that specifics would be coming soon, now we have confirmation via Larry King Live. The telethon will be on June 21, 2010 at 8pm EST.

"Disaster in the Gulf: How You Can Help," will be featuring three charities, so you will be able to choose which one you want to help out. The money raised will go to aid in rebuilding the Gulf Coast.

Michael Trevino Interview/Photoshoot with Breakout Magazine and Hub Production Appearance

Our soon to be wolf on Vampire Diaries, Michael Trevino has an awesome interview with Breakout Magazine. He talks about his character, Tyler Lockwood and the patience he had in season 1 to let the story develop. Also, he gives his opinion on the fascination people have with vampires. "It's frustrating", (waiting for his storyline to develop) Michael says. "You have to be patient, but then you understand that we have huge ensemble cast, we have to tell a story. In the Season 1 finale, Tyler is affected by the same device that was meant to weed out the vampires in the town and in doing so, we get a glimpse of what's to come for Tyler.

Vampire Diaries Cast Signing at HMV

The crowd went crazy when the trio appeared on June 3rd at HMV 150 Oxford Street, London. Here's a brief video, hopefully they will post more soon. Also, HMV uploaded tons of pics on their Facebook page. Next up the cast will be attending the Monte Carlo Television Festival.
