Somerhalder went on to say that he doesn't think a relationship is in the cards for Damon and Elena, that it's just "a pipe dream for Damon." He had similar thoughts regarding fans' wanting a Damon-Bonnie pairing.
"Again, she hates him! Hates him. And not like the kind of hate that could eventually turn into love, she despises the guy," Ian said. "Five generations for her family have despised the guy, you know what I mean?

Sorry Ian, don't believe for a minute Damon and Elena are over forever. The writers need to fix this. Damon and Elena are "fiery & fiesty" together. Why would the creators and writers waste such extroadinary "hot" chemistry between two of the main characters. Actually, 75% -80% of the viewers, depending on which poll you look at, want Damon & Elena involved in a romantic relationship. However, it needs to evolve over time and not to quickly, but the fans need to see something advancing in that direction.
ReplyDeleteStefan and Elena is ubreakable, when she found out that Stefan was the one that saved her from the car accident it cemented their relationship as far as she is concerned, and when Elena gave stefan her blood to save his life it cemented their relationship, these two has bonded in so many ways even when there not together they are- in mind, body, and soul. The only way Elena would end up with Damon now is if her or Stefans life depend on it witch is why she whent on the road trip with Damon in Bad Moon Riseing because this warewolf is a threat to Stefan safety, however i do believe later in the distant future something tragic will happen to let Elena turn to damon for comfort but it always gonna be Stefan that her hart belongs to.
ReplyDeleteOutch Ian.....say it isn't so!!!!!!!! The writers need to fix this immediately!!!!!!!!! The chemistry between Damon & Elana is why I watch the show!!!The only way for this to be fixed is for something really tragic to happen to Elena and Damon would have to take care of and help her....Please remember one thing, never say never........Also, I highly disagree that Stephan & Elena belong together.....watching those two together is like watching high school kids (which is what they are), unfortunately for TVD, the targeted audiance is from the ages of 18-49....women from the ages of 18 - 49 don't want to see sweet looks and sweet kisses on the screen. We want FIRE...that's what Damon & Elena have....FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kevin: The premiere for me was our underhanded way of saying that this is the year we have to deal head on with the relationship between Damon and Elena.
PW: As the people who basically live in these character's minds, I'm curious what your feelings are on the validity of Elena's hatred for Damon. I doubt it. Do you?
Kevin: I think he has such a long road to haul before he can ever be a viable option in her eyes. He’s done so many horrible things – his attack on Jeremy being the worst. I don’t know how you ever get over such a deliberately evil move. It’s going to take a long time for her to get over that. But as Katherine said, hate is the beginning of most love stories. It was no surprise that we ended the episode with Elena saying “I hate him.”
Ian may think Damon being with Elena is a "pipe dream", but dreams do come true. Oh yes! We want FIRE...that is what Damon & Elena have.

ReplyDeleteElena needs to make up her mind I rather her be Stefan because not only is it wrong to try and hit on your boyfriends "brother" its also the most ho-ish thing she could ever do I mean cmon really people? You want Elena to smash the homies? No I say Bonnie and Damon should be together you know why? Because out of everyone she's the one that keeps him in line and let's him know that the world doesn't revolve around him. DAmon needs to find a way to earn Bonnie's trust again so far he's been messing that up and plus they look so sexy together ouch!
