"Fool Me Once" Review and Promo for TVD Return on March 25th

Where do I begin with this episode? R.I.P. to Grams, who everyone thought would be the latest victim of TVD heaven. Before Grams went to meet her maker, she gave Damon a little witch treat. He came to the house looking for Bonnie and threatened Grams with, "step outside and say that." I think he temporarily lost his mind, but it was to late. Grams had put some kind of skin burning voodoo on his ass and shut the door!

Of course, "the situation" of Mystic Falls was in full affect tonight. Once again I'm ready to see Stefan feed on somebody besides a damn rabbit! I'm team Stefan all day, but the scene of Elena and Damon at the Salvatore house was a little touching. I don't know why really. Damon tried to kill both of Elena's friends, he's been torturing my poor Stefan for a century, and just wreaking havoc on the whole town.

I guess the acknowledgment that he just wanted to have a little "real" fun and didn't compel Elena to do so, said a lot about how he feels about her. I think in a way Elena is still so grateful to Damon for erasing Jeremy's memory, that she's blinded by all the selfish behavior he's displayed. On that note, Jeremy and Anna have some real chemistry, it's to bad that their relationship will be poisoned by vamp blood. However, this may be just the key for that little memory of his to bust wide open and that should only add a layer or two to the storyline.

I never thought Ben was anything special, just a little side dish to the main course. So I was elated to see "the situation"torch his ass! Tyler has to become a werewolf soon, I mean there's only so much partying and bullying I can take. Where was my Alaric? I'm getting use to the boss! Also, Matoline equals cuteness, but without a little vampness or some other magical element their relationship can become a bore.

I guess that pretty much sums it up! I have a feeling these weeks will go by pretty fast. I love the Olympics, so at least it won't be a total bore. Although, half my hair will be missing come March 25th. Special shout out to the amazing writers of the show and actors who really put their heart and soul into the characters. I love you and keep bringing it!!

  1. I love this show and this episode was so good!
I am confused though...when did Katherine turn Stefan & Damon? In last weeks episode she was carted off and they both thought she was put in the tomb with the other vampires, but this week revealed that she wasn't in the tomb. So when did she see them again to turn them??

  2. According to a lot of my TVD peeps, both Stefan and Damon exchanged blood with Katherine. There's probably going to be a duel of some sort where the brothers die and come back as vampires.
